Need Manuals for Sandpiper (Newbie)
I have just purchased a 2003 Sandpiper 27RLSS and would like to have all of the tech information that I can get. I would like manuals for everthing from the water heater and ac to the refrigerator and tank level switches. If anyone can help steer me in the right direction i would greatly appreciate it.

have you looked real good thru all the storage areas in the trailer ? if you are lucky the previous owner may have stashed the orig. owners mauals and related info somewhere in the trailer. other than that, its probably going to be a challenge to locate paperwork for all the different components and appliances.
i would try the RV manufacturer and then the mfg. of the ac and appliances.sorry,i couldn't give you any positive leads, but that's where i would start !

The previous owner did leave the owners manual but it is very vague and encompasses more than just my model. I guess I will have to hunt them down through each individual company. Thank you for your reply.

Yep, that is the ONLY FR manual you get.
A generic manual the covers everything and with any luck the manuals the installer left for the appliances.

Hi Justin, welcome to the FR forums!!
Did you question the previous owner about the other papers and manuals?
Maybe they have them stuck in a closet somewhere and can find them for
you.
If not the best bet is to get a note pad and jot down each appliance
make and model #.
Then you can usually go online to each makers website and usually under
support or something like that you will find the manual you need in PDF form.
Other times you might need to call their tech support and ask but that's a
last resort.
Other times if you have a simple question about operation you might just ask
here and someone with similar gear can help you.
Happy Camping

Thank you. I will have to get the appliance model numbers and go that route. Unfortunatley I purchased the trailer from a dealer.

one thing u may want to take a look at is the burner area of the frig. there was a recall on them on several models. mine was manufactured in late 2001. May want to check ur model against the Dometic web site to see.
the recall resulted in putting a metal shield around the burner area as shown below (the schematic is glued to the added shield). seems there was a potential of a crack in the welds on some models. the shield contains the flame and shuts off the gas in the event a weld cracks).

Wow! I never would have known about the burner. Thank you so much. I looked today and it does have the same panel as noted in your pictures. Again, thank you.

I made a list of all of the components in my 02 and I have found most of what I need on the web. I Googled the manufacturer, part number and PDf and usually got what I needed. Then I email them to myself and print em off at work
