New camper problems

Just picked up my new Salem fsx260rt and started playing around with it. So after I moved all the stuff back in I wanted to test everything out more extensively than what I thought the dealer did. Turns out there is a dime sized hole in the side of my fresh water tank that’s will only allow me to fill it half way, it was clearly damaged and I can’t see how it was overlooked. I have something stuck in the duct work that makes a ton of noise when the fan is on. The pressure relief valve on the hot water tank is leaking. And last (that I know of at this point) the man door is a b*** to close and lock.

I’m currently waiting to see what the dealer wants to do to address these problems but I have to admit, I’m not too happy. I just hope the list won’t continue as the dealership is over a hour away.

Makes me wonder how good of an inspection is really done on these campers and how much of a lack of pride is in the employees that build them.

Other than the hole in the water tank sounds like very minor issues. Did you do a PDI with the dealer before you signed the paper work??

Is the trailer level or close? The door issues may be because the trailer is putting the door frame in a bind.

I wonder if it was drilled for a level sensor that was missed?
