New Here, so hope this doesn't get too many laughs

Pressure Washing? Good or Bad idea for a Forest River Sandpiper (Bonded Sliding) My old Holiday Rambler I would clean up a couple times a year with the pressure washer, and would just becareful to stand back far enough to not harm the decals, or blow into the vents.

I suppose if we have to "hand wash" I am going to have to get the Wife involved.

I say go for it and just do as you did with your other trailer and stand back.

Just be cautious...and you should be fine. Be careful around those vents, outlets and such. Windows too.

That's one way to see how many leaks you have!

highwayman,

You could do like I do. I have a rotating brush attachment for my pressure washer. I have one of my kids hose down the 5er in front of me, and I wash the camper using the pressure washer (PW) w/ rotating brush. With the rotating brush, the PW will siphon a RV Wash/Wax & water solution. Gives a nice soapy bath. When I finish a section, my helper will go behind me and rinses the soapy water off. We can wash the entire 5er in a couple of hours.

One other trick...I open my awning, wash it w/ the PW, RV wash/wax and rotating brush. I make sure I have gone over the entire awning, top & bottom. With the soap still on it, I roll it back up. I wash the 5er and when completed, I open the awning & wash again. Letting the awning sit rolled up w/ the wash/was on it helps loosen up the dirt/mildew/mold and makes it an easier job to clean.

Good luck!
Mark
