No lug nuts

Last week I bought a 2015 8289WS.
After a 8 hour drive to dealer I felt we were being rushed off the lot. We had requested new tires that were on the camper. One of the awnings didnít want to extend and we were told that the battery just needs to charge which would happen as we drove down the road.
2 miles after leaving the dealer the left rear tire came off and only one tire had been tightened. There was so much water in tanks the commercial floor jack would not lift it high enough to replace the recovered tire.
Questions we were only going about 35 mph. Could this have bent the frame? That being my biggest concern!!!!

It's definitely possible but only an inspection will tell for certain.

That is terrible. Is the dealer accepting any kind of responsibility for this? Are they offering to repair the damage? If so, you may want to get a third party to inspect and not necessarily only take the dealers word for things.

Your insurance agent may be of great help in this.

As mentioned, only a GOOD inspection will tell.

What a shame your dealer rushed you off the lot but that is how some are once they get your money. I believe I'd be paying them a visit and not leaving this time until I was satisfied and not them.

Make a claim with your insurance and they will make a claim against the dealership insurance for the negligence of letting you drive off without lug nuts.

X2 File a claim with your insurance company. They will have much more success with the dealer than you will.

Given how weak the frames are on trailers these days, I would think a through inspection would be in order.
