Onan Vapor Locking??

I have an '07 Forester with the Onan 4.0 generator, it has developed a problem, it starts & runs perfectly for 3/10 of an hour, just long enough to get hot, then quits, with or without load, oil is full, the fuel is full, after it cools for a while, it will start up & run for a while, (1/10 of an hour) & quits again, leading me to think about vapor locking, it is about 85-90 degrees out, but I would think that it should run in any temp. It has run great at 99 degrees in the past.
Question is, how do you avoid vapor locking?

Could be an ignition coil going bad. They usually fail when they get hot. Before you pull the trigger on the "parts canon", and blow away a bunch of money, you need to determine the cause of why it quits.
