One Question About Down Sizing Pic

What is the largest picture that the Forum can down size? The reason I am asking is because my daughter just showed me how to do it from our home computer. I posted a pic under the " off topic thread " last night The pic originally was 895 kb and I down to 35.5 kb when I up loaded the pic the Forum had no problem excepting It and resized it for the Forum. So maybe knowing the max size the Forum can handle could help some new members!

Ideally the picture should be as small as possible and still look OK on
This is typically less than 100k.
Most pictures of ~60k will look fine on screen.
The reason I say keep them small is there is a maximum server useage
on any web site.
I don't know what the max is here but we can all help by uploading
the smallest files possible.

Since I have my own website I usually put my pictures there
and just link to them here but I realize most folks don't have
that option.

I have the site set for 800 X 600 and max file size is 1100000

If I go larger than 800 X 600 It throws all of the pages off balance and then we have to scroll to the right to read the threads.
