Outside ladder repair parts

I noticed over the weekend while getting my sewer hose out of the rear bumper that one of the bottom ladder mounts had rusted and was no longer supporting anything. It is rusted where it goes into the ladder tube the tube seems fine. is there somewhere I can just get the part that attaches to the TT with part that (i assume) just goes into the tube?

Thanks,
Rick

btw: man it was hot out there this weekend my AC ran almost constantly until the sun when down.

It looks like it threads in to the ladder.

Might want to remove the wall bracket (4 crews) and take it and the hardware in your pix to the part department. They shoudl be able to find the parts you need.

If you can't find new parts, take the pcs to a welding shop and they can braze it back together. If the part that goes inside is beyond repair, measure the id of the ladder tube and find a pc of tubing that will fit and have the weld shop braze it onto the bracket. I would also remove the other one and do it likewise. You might consider drilling a small weep hole in the bottom of the ladder to allow condensation to drain out.

I just took the bracket off and it appears that there is some kind of insert that goes into the ladder and the bolt on the bracket screws into that and thats what rusted.I probably should just replace the whole ladder and mounting hardware if one is bad the rest probably aren't far behind.
