Outside oval orange light replacement

Ok I know this sounds silly but both outside orange lights have burnt out. The one over the doors and the one under the steps.. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get these domes open to replace the bulbs!! It looks the same as the light for the propane tanks but without a rocker switch.

So how does one get it open?

Mine has a little notch in the amber lens. I had to replace a bulb early on. It made me a little nervous but you just have to compresss the lens a bit and pop it out.

There's 3 small tabs holding the lens in the housing...usually two on top, one on the bottom. Just gently pry the lens the housing with a thin screwdriver or scraper.

okay. I will give it a try. I assume from the bottom? I just REALLY REALLY do not want to bust a lens!

x3 gently grasp it and squeeze it enough to pull the tabs back and off she will pop

its only scary the first time, then you will be amazed at the fact they don't pop off going down the road

Yes they do come off going down the road. My amber lens departed the TT somewhere in north Texas. My local dealer stocks them for about $2.
