Porch Lights Not Working.

My porch lights stopped working, the one under the steps first and the second a week later. Bought new bulbs and replaced today, bother were visibly burnt out but the new ones do not work.

Checked the fuses at the panel and double checked the bulbs.

What's the next step? Try another set of bulbs?

I had a similar problem with our bedroom lights. drove me crazy. checked everything with a volt meter and couldn't find any problem. Experience Camper next to us a few weeks ago told me to change out the 15 amp fuse even though it tested fine. Guess what? lights work perfect now. No idea why it works since the fuse tested OK but a cheap and quick fix for me that may work for you.

That's exactly what I was thinking but doing that made no sense. Will give if a try though!

Changed the bulbs and the lights came on. The two I had put in were brand new and still in the packaged but purchased the season before and look to be fine, element is not broken. Oh well, glad it was nothing serious!

Glad it was a simple issue. We sometimes forget the simple things and immediately go to the expensive and complicated. I also noticed when I replaced the regular bulbs with LED that the LED's would only work if inserted correctly. If they didn't light I flipped them around and they worked. simple things
