Possible Leaks

To all you Windjammer & V-Lite owners. Was at a dealer the other day & talking to another customer. He said that the front one piece nose on these units are susceptible to leaks. Have any of you experienced this problem? We may be interested in one of these units, but not if there is an above normal potential leak. The dealer we were at has a very good deal on a new 2014 WJ 2618W. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, we bought the same model in August 2014. Our unit was on display on dealer lot in Louisiana for a couple months. The morning we toured it there had been a blowing heavy rain, all slides were out and it was dry as a bone inside. We checked every cabinet/closet/window for leaks including the kitchen which is at the front behind the one piece nose. All dry!! This is our 2nd Rockwood and both have been a good experience. We just camped the "rainy" cold week of New Years here in Texas and a no problems with leaks! Check all the chalking as part of regular maintainence. We love our WJ 2618W. Best of luck!!

Thanks 2ags81
Sounds promising. The one we are looking at is on lot. New 2014 marked down from $34,180 to $23,872. Not new to RVing & went over it with fine tooth comb & found no noticeable issues, just had some concern about possibility of leaking around the nose.
Thanks again for the info.
