Our 04 wildcat has a motor on the landing gear that seems slower than slow. Is this how they are or is mine getting worn out? I can reach in through the front compartment and speed it up a little by grabbing and turning the tube that runs between the 2 legs.

My setup looks just like what your manual has. I looked all over the jacks and don't see a zerk on them. Is this one of those things that gets overlooked or not installed at the factory?

Get a flashlight and look around the top part of the jack. Mine have one in the front and one in the back on both sides. They are small and very easy to overlook. I mistook them for rivets the first time I looked.
Not all jacks have grease zerks, why I have no idea.
But the zerks on our jacks don't get grease up to the gears anyway, so like donn said, pop the caps and 'fill er up'!
I made the mistake of running my landing gear up too high "once" and blew the fuse.
After I found and replaced the fuse I swear the landing gear operates faster.
Is that possible?
No grease zerks on mine either.
I have always assumed that when you greased them that it greased the sliding portions of the stabs I guess I never thought it greased the gears ..... I guess I could see where someone might think it does . Or am I out in left field ?
I’m embarrassed to say that I’ve never heard of grease zerks on the landing gear. I don’t think either of my Wildcats had them, but I can’t say for sure. Regardless, I doubt that grease would speed things up much, make them quieter for sure. Electric landing gear don’t come down very fast as it is. I’ll have to look this week to see if my Silverback has grease zerks on the landing gear.
