Power Winch Not Working

When I hit the button on my power winch to raise my pop-up roof, nothing happens. I recently replaced the battery, so that isn't the problem. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm leaving to go camping this morning and I will have to crank it up by hand if the power winch isn't working and that takes all day. Thanks.

How new is your battery? If it is brand new and hasn't been recently charged, it may be the problem. They're not always ready-to-go out of the box.

Hi Bruce - the battery is brand new, but I charged it last night and I also jumped it with jumper cables and nothing which tells me it's something other than the battery. Andy

Mine just died a few weeks ago on my 2014 Palomino Basecamp. I believe its the limit control switch. I just used my drill and the leveler bit to crank it up and down.

I went and had it looked at. The switch went bad and it needs a new one. Thanks for your replies. I appreciate it.
