Question about stabilizer jack weight limits
We're picking up our new Rockwood 8327SS tomorrow and long story short, our driveway has a good slope to it and our Passport that had the typical crank style jacks needed about 4 rows of 4x6's cribbing to be level with the jacks around half way down. I used to raise the tongue then crib the jacks, then raise the jack again leaving the weight of the trailer on the front jacks while I put more blocks under the tongue jack. The old trailer weighed around 5500lbs, this trailer weighs in at 8600lbs. Would the electric jacks support the weight of the trailer by themselves while I add the second set of blocks under the tongue. The whole process only takes about 30 seconds. Hopefully I explained it well enough lol
