Here soon I am going to put my camper on a seasonal site for most of the Summer. The site pad is all stone, should I place wood under the tires or park It in the site as is? At home my camper is parked on concrete and I do not use any thing under the tires. The type of stone that is on the site is like "F" stone it is ridget and is not comepacted.
I always use the plastic levelers or a piece of PT wood. Even on concrete moisture wicks to the rubber tires. Also cover them to protect from UV deterioration.
i use the big yellow lego blocks and those tire covers from adco
plus a goooooood liberal coat of tire gel on the inside sidewall and the outside sidewall

First thing Papa Roo to FRF. We belong to Thousand Trails, our seasonal site is in Hershey PA. The camper will be there for most of the Summer. We will be pulling off for two weeks and heading to Frontier Town in Ocean City I think the last week of July and the first week of August then return back to Thousand Trail for the remainder of the season.
Thanks for everyones reply. I have made a pair of boards for both sides out of 5/25 board treated lumber, I didn't think about covering the tires or using gel coat. Thanks again...
Thanks for the info Rockwood. We have a seasonal at Tucquan in Holtwood Pa. Our trailer is just parked on 2x10 pressure treated lumber. We have had no problems.
