raise 5er or lower truck?
OK I have looked through a lot of posts and even got in on some but realy need some experienced help more specific to me. I have a stock Dodge 06 cummins 4x4 with air bags in the rear, and an 08 32 qbbs wildcat fifthwheel. I did not have the air bags when I bought the fifthwheel and can not rememeber how the 5er road level or nose high. The problem is that now I am nose high, the measured difference is about 4 and a half from front most frame versus rear. I have played with the air in the bags and still it sits nose high, right now I have pretty equal weight on both truck axles so I like that. I lowered my 5er hitch and this made a little difference but still have the 4 and half, I am now down to 5-6 inches of bed clearence (short bed/slider hitch) and do not want to go any lower. I real want to get it lower. I do not have a extra holes in the springs to lower that way so do I raise the camper some way or lower the truck or forget about it?
