Recommended dealer for warranty work in Texas

I am having a hard time finding a dealer in mid/east Texas that can do a 30+ item list. I have a 2015 Forest River Thunderbolt. They either don't have time, put me at the end of their list (could be months before they even look at it), or outright refuse because I didn't buy from them. Have any of you had a great experience with a local dealer in Texas (or anywhere nearby) that you can recommend. Am I really going to have to 2000+ miles to the factory in February? Surely that's not the only option??

I am near Longview. Did the dealer you recommended do major warranty work in a timely manner?

I was very satisfied with the quality of work done twice on my Dutchmen TT and later twice on my FR Wildcat 5er. I cant comment too much on timely as each instance was at the end of season and I told them no hurry, get when you can.

Dealers other than the selling dealer are not required to do warranty work. A 30 item list will probably have several items on it that they cannot bill Forest River for. Many items that are small or are adjustments cannot be billed. The selling dealer usually allows for these items when they sell it and build an amount into the profit of the unit for this. Why not try and take care of as many of the small items as you can yourself and try and whittle your list down to a more reasonable level. You might then be able to find someone more willing to help you.

I have had EXCELLENT work done by Kyle and Don at A Great Outdoor RV in Canton/Wills Point right on I-20. http://www.agorv.com/

Most of mine has been extended warranty work but they are FR dealers.

Same here, United RV in Fort Worth has done a couple of things for me. On time and reasonable cost for non-warranty stuff. DO NOT GO TO Fun Town RV in Cleburne! That is where I purchased mine and their service manager is the worst; I have posted the odyssey here already. Good luck!

Texas still has an old unwritten law amongst the car dealers if you purchased it from me I'll fix it if not go away. I think it just rolled over to the RV's. The Rio Grande Valley is a perfect area to find that out. The stupid part about it is 90* of the RV's here in the winter are from all over.
