Reese Revolution concern/problem

I have a 2018 Rockwood 2950ws with the Reese Revolution (which I have come to really like).
On this latest trip, yesterday I found the cotter pin had seared off on the main nut holding the king pin to the turret. I do not have a torque wrench with me, but it appears the nut did not work loose and king pin has the same movement as before. I replaced the cotter pin.
Has anyone else had this happen and should I be concerned enough to lock it out for the remainder of my trip (5 more days)?
TIA.

Never heard of that, but I don't think I would worry about it, it can't fall apart with the nut on.

Not having one... did the cotter pin shear off or simply just get knocked out? Is it like a castle nut? the Cotter pin just keeps everything secure from backing off?

The cotter pin sheared. Found the head in the bed of my truck and removed pieces from the nut.
I am back home now. No further movement on the Reese, but I think I will call them anyway. I will keep ya'll posted.

Will be interesting to hear their reply.

Cotter pins only shear when the nut moves. I would take the revolution apart and regrease/retorque.

I do that to my sidewinder yearly using Lucas red-n-tacky. Sidewinders have four bolts on top of the turret, instead of the one nut on the bottom, but same exact principle.

Let us know.
