Replacement Microwave

I have a 2005 Flagstaff 30' 5th wheel. Went camping in it for the first time today and the microwave won't work. It seems that start button is shot. Everything else works. It is a Magic Chef unit.

Replacement unit? Will any similar sized microwave work, or do I have to get some special size?

Thanks

Might be easier to get it fixed then to try and find something to fit the space. All you can really do is take measurements and head to the store or research online other units with the same dimensions.

Just take the measurments and go shopping. There is nothing special about the microwaves for rv's.

Yeah, I've heard folks finding replacements at Target.
Just measure your old one and go shopping.
Maybe online so you can see the specs which should include
dimensions.
Good Luck!

Not entirely true. Make sure the venting won't be obstructed by your cabinetry. Also, you may not be able to obtain a kit to install it flush like it is now.
Repar parts for microwaves (yours is likely Dometic or Magic Chef?) are usually more expensive than replacing the microwave. Planned obsolescence, I guess.
