Restoring outside finish

I've been wanting to buy a used TT with a Fiberglas skin, not aluminum. So many I've seen are bleached out by the sun. Is there a way to make a used RV look near new again?

Besides rubbing compound and wax, there is a product available in marine stores designed to restore fiberglass boat hulls...I believe it's called Poly Glo.

I have an RV with white filon fiberglass. I tried several products the last one being Nu Finish that I thought was goint to work but was just streaky so I ended up using the Zep Floor shine.

You will find several threads on various forums if you Google it. Google Redmax also as it was redmax before Zep bought them out. It is similiar to the polyglo but much cheaper. As with polyglo it takes a few coats to get a good look. My ramp door took 4 and the side took 3. The fiberglass is porus so it will soak it up on the first couple. It really shines now.

I cleaned it first with bar keepers powder and a fine scotch brite type pad. Again the FG is porus so you will have to rinse untill you see no bubbles coming off.

You will get many more opions on many products but this is what worked for me. The polyglo will do the same at 3 times the cost.
