Rockwood 8280WS Toilet Issue
I just returned from a short camping trip where the toilet filled up with water (on it's own) several times almost overflowing. We were dry camping using the on board water pump. Pump handle was in the upright position. Anyone experience this?

Sounds like the o ring is bad in the toilet handle.

Wade...is there water coming into the bowl from the toilet 'fill' nozzle?
You could also check out Thetford's site...perhaps there's an adjustment that can be made.
Dave

Definitly, the shut off valve sometimes does not shut off after the pedal is released letting the water passes and filling the bowl. You will need a new kit for sure.

Thanks everyone for the help.. Dave, yes it looks like the water was coming from the "fill" outlet. First time scared the pants off me because I raised the lid and the water was right at the rim getting ready to spill over...
