Roof maintenance

My dealer is recommending to scrape and reseal my roof. I have had no leaking or cracks. They consider this preventive maintenance and that it should be done every three years. This is pricey, $1700. Looking for other opinions on this subject.

Eternabond Tape to seal the seams! If you DIY, it shouldn't cost more than $150. Even hiring someone else to do it should be alot less than the dealer quote and you'll be set for a long time!
