Rubber gasket around Slide

Hey All, just looking for some advice. I am in the process of doing my total fall clean from top to bottom. The only thing I have left is on my rubber gasket that is between my slide out and camper.
(It used to be white)... It is almost black from mildew, I guess. I tried Awsome first because it seems to work on just about everything. Even that won't touch it. So I tried some bleach water and no luck. Anyone have any luck getting that junk off?

I don't know exactly what "gasket" you are talking about, as the only thing I can imagine is a slide out seal, which is black rubber on my TT. If you are referring to rubber slide out seals, I'd be reluctant to use harsh cleaners or chlorine on them, since you need the seals to remain supple. I wash mine with soapy water when I'm washing my TT, and use "slide out conditioner" (available from Camping World) a couple of times each season to attempt to condition and maintain the seal.

I can't imagine white rubber. Unless it got chalky. I use silicon spray like you'd use on your cars door seals. Doesn't stay wet or attract dirt.

BradW - Just occurred to me...you may be talking about the "gasket" or seal on the inside (hidden by the slide fascia)? That's one I've never even thought about cleaning or treating. There probably is something for that, although I'd be pretty concerned if it were showing mildew. Maybe someone else knows?
