Add LED lights just under the door above the step wire into the existing step lights. I did that to both my front and back steps and you can see them fine.

What RV do you have? Some RVs already have lights under the stairs. It is just a matter of finding the switch. If there isn't one, it is a fairly easy task to add one. You can also get one these and stick it next to the steps: https://smile.amazon.com/BAXIA-TECHN...962627&sr=8-11 This one has no "dim" mode, so it isn't on until it detects motion. They do make ones which are dim, until motion is detected, at which time they come on bright for a set amount of time.

Or you can add these to your steps: https://smile.amazon.com/Anti-Slip-G...7968751&sr=8-2

I agree both of these are the easiest way to go. I have some of the solar lights like these in a few different applications and they work great.
