Seat Belt Help, please

We recently purchased a new 2011 Forest River Lexington motorhome. The two bench seats have pull out drawers under them. The rear facing bench seat says not to sit there. The forwarding facing seat doesn't have that warning, and the brochure shows seat belts there. We don't have the seat belts. Is it because we have the pull out drawer, or did the factor not install them?

Our Sunseeker has the same set up on the dinette seats. Both have the drawers. Have u removed the forward facing seat cushion yet? If u do, u should see the belts below the plywood seat base and to the left side of the closed drawer side. The cut outs in the plywood enable pulling the belts up where they belong. We routinely leave them on the coach floor under the plywood unless passengers (grand daughters) are with us. The belts do get in the way on the seats since one must slide in to the inner positions. We also have a problem with the seat cushions staying in place. I have added additional Velcro but they still move. I need a plan C?? LOL

Thanks. I have noticed the problem with the cushions moving as well. I was hoping that as they were used and squished a little that they would stay in place better. Maybe a piece of flannel layed on the seat would help hold them...nothing slides on flannel! Keep me posted if you find something that helps hold the seats in place. I have looked under the seat and taken the drawer out, but I did not see seat belts. I'll look again. Thanks for you help.

I have a 2004 Lexington 210. You may notice a small gap at the back edge of the seat plywood, that is where the belts come out.

Your configuration may be different but do make sure the belts are anchored to a steel framework and that the belts' anchor points are directly below that plywood gap. On mine the belts anchor 6 or 8 inches forward of the gap. I am concerned this offset would create a lot of slack in the belts during an accident. I started a thread a while ago on this issue if you are concerned.

A Velcro dot on each corner of the cushions and the mating dot on the plywood would keep them in place.
