Mounting your gennie

Yea .. the tonge mount sounds a little questionalbe.
how about mounting your genset on a good piece of 3/4 inch ply ... leaving enough room for you to be able to roll the wheels of your trailer over the other half of the plywood. This way they would either have to move your trailer to steal it, or smash the heck out of the plywood, and most likely the generator.
Cover it up with a small tarp when not in use, and put a couple of pieces of firewood on the ends ... they may just walk by it thinking its just firewood.
