Is setting in Florida sun for that long the slide seals would be an issue. They may be dried out and about ready to fall apart.

Some RV company's had a 2 year warranty and realized that some of the appliances were only covered by the manufacturer for 1 year and then the RV manufacture was extending that warty another year out of their pocket. Now some RV companies aaa only covering what the items manufacture is covering like microwaves, fridge, stove or whatever was 1 year. Then some RV manufactures would covers something they built or install for a longer term. So the warranties are now advertising a 1-3 limited warranty base on a particular item.

The slide seals would be a big consideration. Ck and see if they are brittle at all. If you take possession spray them with a DRY SILICONE like liquid wrench for slides. I would check all appliances including the hot water heater on elec and gas

They get very busy trying to sell you an insurance policy.

Forest River stopped the two year extended warranty last July 2017. That includes Cedar Creek

One woman was suing Cedar Creek because her trailer had 77 defects during her warranty period. When CK found out she was a full timer her warranty was canceled.

Call around.

50 is not a great deal.

A leftover should be less.

The Hathaway has a lot of nice upgrades. 55 with a lot of extras on ours an 2018. We ordered ours. Usually not as good a deal.

Hydraulic level is really nice. When we stop we can be in cocktail mode in less then 20 minutes.

We were treated well at Couch rv nation in Hamilton. A fair offer at step one. How I prefer to do business. Their PDI was 100%

NO DEAL

Just an update for you all. First, thanks to everyone who answered my call for help, I learned quite a bit!

As it turned out, we had to walk away for one simple reason....... it was too long. That may sound silly, but several of our favorite haunts have length restrictions - 34 ft being the most common. Lazy Days' ad had this at 34 feet...... we never thought to question that at first, but when we looked at it, I kept thinking it was bigger than that. Well, it's 38'4" long.......

So that ended that.

Another lesson learned: Check the manufacturer's specs and not trust dealer website info.

We're back to searching again.

Somewhere on the internet is a page giving statistics on rv lengths and sites available.

Influenced me. As I remember it said my Cedar Creek 34RE, 37’ in length would find available sites in 90% of campgrounds.

If you are over 40’ the number was near 50%.

Pays to study up,on this.

We have parked “nearby” with our track twice!
