Siding is buckling

Has anyone dealt with this before? If so did you re-staple or screw the siding back in place? I'd like to get some input before I jump into this repair.

Looks like you're still under warranty, take it to dealer and have it repaired. Looks like expansion problem at floor level. Not only will look bad, water will get in and ruin the woods inside.

Dealer is a one way 2 hour drive, this looks to be an easy repair.

Not if it is caused by water damage. Something made this happen, it may be getting wet inside from a leak and will only get worse. Water will cause the staples to pull loose. Check the wood inside for signs of water. If the wood got wet there will be black and brown streaking and the staples will rust. I think I would make the trip to the dealer just to document. Doing the repair yourself may void the warenty if there is deeper issues later.

I'm sure this is caused from the 100 degree heat for the past week, the siding pulled away from the staples and there is no sign of water damage.

3 flat head screws and 20 minutes of time and it's fixed.....
