Skylight is leaking

In my Rockwood Premier pop up. The skylight seems intact, it’s leaking from the plastic trim piece on the inside of the frame. What is the best way to fix? Best sealant to use?

I had a similar leak in mine over the shower. I used eternabond tape around the exterior lip of the skylight and used a roller to make sure it was adhered well. Make sure to clean the roof surface real good prior to placing the tape. That fixed my problem.

I also used Eternabond around the skylight on our last RV and it worked great.

What worries me about your description is that the outside seems to be ok but it's leaking inside. I'd make sure to find where the leak is coming from before just sealing around the outside flange of the skylight. It could have a tiny crack in the bubble that's hard to see.

FWIW, I had nothing on or around my skylight that really stood out as a "Oh yeah, that's the spot". My leak was very slow. I just happened to notice a drop of water on one of the interior trim screws. I wiped it off and after the next rain it was there again. I think the Eternabond would be a good simple first step.

Mine was serious dripping from those screws. Turned out to be a spot along the roof rail where the Dicor let loose, between the shower skylight and the refrigerator vent. Also the joint where the two edge pieces that curve over the roof edge had separated. Resealing both of these stopped the leak. Btw, had to take it to a dealer near where .I was camping to have them find it and make the repairs.
