sqeaking noises

Sorry stupid question here but new trailer rockwood 233s new wdh reese new 2011 ford f150. Two tows with new trailer all quiet third tow creeking and squeaking everything lubed real loud on turns any idea? Sounds like its coming from wdh not sure help please .......

I would probably say its your hitch. I don't have a hitch like that I have a Equalizer 4 point hitch and it makes all kinds of noise when making slow turns.

My Reese hitch must be made by the same people that make Rice Crispies, because it will snap, crackle, and pop.

If you have the Reese Straight Line Dual Cam, you can use Vaseline on the spring bars where they ride on the cams. Also, use a heavy oil or grease at the trunnion bar fittings, as well as grease the ball. I have started using silicone spray on my chain links also.....the jury is still out on that one.

pretty normal for most WDH's.

make sure you lube all the approved areas, such as the ball, to cut down the noise.

When I had that setup, I used silicone spray on the cams where the bars touched. It helped, but some noise is normal. Lithium grease on ball and ends of bars where they attach to hitch helped also.
