Stabelizers during short term storage (1 week to 1 month)
So far I have been faithful about putting the stabilizers down every time I park the trailer.
However, I'm beginning to wonder for the week or month between summer trips if that is worth the effort. No one is in the trailer for any length of time. The storage site has quite a grade (no way to get it level anyway). Everything is turned off.
I don't lower my stabilizer jacks when I park the trailer at the storage place. My space is level but you did mention something about a good size grade for your space. Hopefully others will chime in with more feedback.

really dont see a need to put your stabilizers down i have never done this unless i intent on using it in the driveway .Can i ask why you put them down ? Just curious if you had a need to do this. The socket and drill does work pretty sweet though i definitely recommend it
My stabilizers are electric (although I found when I popped a fuse I can hand crank them faster than the electric motor). So other than putting the pads down, it's not too hard.
The owner of the storage lot has the RV parking arranged in a herring bone pattern - no real alignment with the 'fall line' to make leveling easy. But since I'm not running anything, I figure it doesn't matter.
Good question Chevy02! I had just started asking myself the same thing. The only real reason I do this is being consistent with respect to doing the same things every time I 'land' or 'take off'.
I don't put them down when in storage at the house, my pad is level. I will even run the slides out if I need to get access to something or when loading/ unloading. I asked at the factory and they said it won't hurt the slides. I also keep it plugged in.
