Storage lock cylinders
I just bought a 2011 23SS Saturday. Owner could not unlock the outside shower for me. I gave it a shot of WD40 and got it open but it is very hard to duplicate. I want to delete the lock on the shower and just add a normal latch. Also I barely got both storage doors open this evening and I want to replace the locks. Any suggestions before I start searching the web? I have a trip planned in a week so shipping maybe a problem. Camping World is two miles from my house. Amazon Prime is an option. TIA

Amazon will have the better prices and likely better selection
Just measure the thickness of the doors the latches are mounted on. The locks come in different sizes. Be aware most campers have a standard key that everyone has so if you like the idea of always being able to go ask a neighbor to unlock your storage areas if you loose your keys, get standard replacements. If you want them keyed different than the standard, there are dozens to choose from that you can buy a group all keyed so one key opens all of them but is not the standard everyone has.
Search "Camper Locks" on Amazon and find the thickness you need and type you want.

Or, squirt some graphite powder in the locks, and dry lube/adjust the latch itself. Might fix it w/o replacing.

If you ever lose the keys to the storage compartments of your TT of MH, just ask the guy in the next campsite. Many (most?) of the units have the same key.

You can print this and remove the lock to measure. Simply hold up the lock to the print out.

I felt locking the shower handle was a little silly. Replaced the lock with this part from Amazon. I did have to grind a little of the handle for clearance.

I did the same thing, as well as replace all the external locks that were keyed the same as 90% of all the other RVs out there. I also couldn't swap them directly, but all I had to do was remove the single screw (it's tight) and switch the latch levers from old to new. They needed a little graphite but soon loosened up and now work nicely.

Thanks for the replies. I went amazon. I decided on double cut keys so they work no matter how you install the key. The ones I bought did not come with the nut. Then the OCD kicked in and I had to make sure both unlocked counter clockwise. I liked the combination locks but people with poor eye site said the numbers are to small. The thumb knob (no key) I got for the outside shower gave me some trouble. The door is not designed for the thumb tab so the "wing" would not clear the door. I solved this by cutting a thin piece of 3/4 inch PVC pipe and put it between the lock and outside of the door. This required bending the lock arm to accommodate for the offset depth. I also had to use the original arm because the arm has to go behind a tab rather than just being inside the compartment. Thank again.

Help
Help! I am trying to replace the cam locks on my slam latch doors and I can’t figure out how to change the cam lock.
The latch is a Southco R3 from a 2019 Flagstaff Super Lite.
Here is a pic. If someone can tell me how to get that barrel out I would be most grateful.

That's not a cam lock.
Talk to these guys about changing out the cylinders to something different or something that matches your doors.

Thanks for your reply but it wasn’t very helpful. What would you call that lock? It is shaped like every other similar barrel lock and it turns a cam so I assumed it was that. Sorry.
Is it possible to replace that lock? That latch is part of my trailer I removed. I want to rekey the entire set from that crappy key to the combi cam. Is that not possible?

Storage lock cylinders
Highly recommend these guys. Another perk is you can get them all keyed the same.
I started out with 3 different keys and ended up with one. Main door, cam locks and baggage door locks.

Btw, I took my southco locks to two locksmiths and they could not rekey them from the generic key.

Sorry...I meant to ad this link which is what the previous poster put in. You have a slam latch. Not sure why my post wasn't updated.
Locks/Keys
Ask them and they can tell you how to replace the cylinder and key alike to even your door lock.

Can you unlock it now? If yes take it to a locksmith. He can remove the barrel, cut a different key, re-key
it and put it back together again.
