Strange noise

on my way home today I was running both Coach A/C and dash ac because it is hotter than heck. About 40min in in noticed both coach ac not running. I pulled off road and heard knocking sound coming from rear compartment where converter and transfer switch are located. I couldn't tell if it was coming from the transfer switch or converter. I turned both ACs off and then power down the generator and the noise stopped. I turn the generator back on and only ran one AC and didn't have the problem tge rest of the way home 20 minutes. We're about to leave on 1000 mile trip I hope this is not indicative of a major problem… Georgetown 351.
