Tailgater Satellite and receiver

Can anyone tell me if this sytem is worth while. I received it over a year ago as a gift. I have never used it and really had no intention of installing it. Was considering selling it but got no takers when I listed it. So, I checked into activating it and have gotten mixed options of how to use it. I was told that i could only use it on the road when camping, not at home when I wasn't camping. That I had to have service at my home and add this plan to it. Is there anyone that is currently using this and what type of plan do you have for it? Do you use it while at home and on the road?

You can use use it anywhere you please!
Mine is outside in the camper working right now.
I use either a wineguard carry out " about the same as your tailgater" or an actual dish on a tri pod when camping.
I use my receiver in my shop during the winter months.
They are very easy to use and set up once you do it a few times and get the hang of it.

btw what was you asking for it ?

$300 for both the satellite and the receiver. Both new, never used or taken out of the box

The tailgater is easy to use.
Youtube has plenty of video's to show you how to setup it up.

I use the Carryout. I simply take one of my home DirecTv receivers to use while camping. The only downside is that I won't have local channels. I'm okay with that as I prefer the upper channels.

We have a tailgater with dish tv service. Love it. Use it any and everywhere. An additional 7 bucks a month on dish account and you can stop and start that however you. I'd keep it, especially if you have I kids.

We have a tailgater that we have been using for a couple of years. It has worked were every we went. As stated earlier, down side, no local channels, no big deal, still have a couple of hundred channels to watch. We use it with DirecTV receiver that we move from the house to the Sabre. It is really simple to setup, Youtube has many videos that you can watch.
