Tank heater ?

The tank heater switch has an led light just like the water pump switch. However when it is turned on the light is not lit, does it only light up when it is actually heating the tanks?

So do you actually have the tank heaters? I know it sounds terrible to ask you, but they may not be installed on your options with your RV. Sometimes I have seen switches installed with nothing attached.

Secondly if you know it was an option and you have it, you may have a connection not connected. It would be very unlikely that the LED is burnt out or the led isn't connected. I would say if they are there, that a connector or wire is loose underneath. Sounds link you'll need to take a few things apart to start searching or testing continuity through he system.

These lighted switches often have 3 connection tabs behind them... 1 for + power into the switch, 1 for ground for the bulb, 1 for the function of the switch. The light in my lighted switch for the propane side of my water heater didn't come when I turned on the switch although the water heater worked. My dealership said the light "wasn't supposed" to light! I pulled the switch out of the control panel and there was no ground wire on the bulb leg of the switch. I installed one to a ground in the panel. Now when I flip the switch, the light comes on as does the propane control. Pull the switch and see if it's also a 3-legged switch.

I took the panel off to look at the switch, one of the wires was not connected, connected it and light works now! Thank you for all the input
