Tank Strap Failure?

Discovered this on out trip this weekend. I still have 8 months remaining on the warranty. I have never pulled off the underbelly and wont till I have to fix something myself. I am wondering if a fresh water strap may have snapped?
The other issue we had this trip out was the front jacks. Drivers side will no longer go up or down. This made it a challenge to hook back up for the return trip. On jack did lift the rig so I could get under it but it was not a safe thing to be doing to say the least but we had to get home.

You should remove that first section...looks like you've got a body hidden under there. I've had sections off...not hard to remove and re-install. Thats the black water tank that's on the side at the front.

As far as the jack, I don't understand. On ours it looks like you directly drive the DS jack while the PS is driven through the cross shaft. I'll look at it closer tomorrow.

That would go right back to the dealer.

You could wind up with the tank in your lap (or driveway) and that WON'T be covered under warranty if you remove the cover and it is the only think holding up the tank.

As to the Jack screws, same thing. You have a broken pinion gear or roll pin.

Lou I am with you. I talked with the dealer this am and will drop it off this week. Dave I think the issue with the lift is in the gear box on the driver side. The square shaft to the passenger side spins as it should. This is another job the dealer can deal with. I will get all I can till my time runs out. I will say Arlington RV in West Greenwich RI have been a great example of true customer service. They gave me the one year extension as part of the purchase and have had a no question attitude on any repairs needed. I have enjoyed dealing with them but hate that I have to.

The fresh water tank strap broke on my TT the 2nd year we had it, maybe 5th trip? Turned out the strap was the same thin, cheap strap they use for hot water tanks? (1" wide, thick as stock paper, had holes). Anyway, the repair place welded a thick bar/strap. Repair guy said he'd never seen something so cheap and flimsy before.

Well it turns out the straps came off where they were attached to the frame. They claimed to reinforced the strap. We took a full tank this weekend to a State Park on Cape Cod without any issues. It was just a short ride but all is well. As for the front jack they replaced the drivers side jack. They claimed all the gears were stripped. I hope this was a one time issue.
