Tape that is 10x stronger then duct tape

Hi, Has anyone had any experience with this stuff? It's supposed to be 10x stronger then duct tape. Looks like something that would be good to have just in case. I can see where it would be good if you needed a quick repair on the road.

Looks interesting and not all that expensive for what it is supposed to do.

I saw this product on the TV show Shark Tank. It's apparently A fiberglass repair tape, kind of like fiberglass cast material...

There have been other variations of this tape. Stop-It was one brand. Tried it in an industrial environment. I have/had seen it at Home Depot.

Give it a try but don't get your hope up that it will repair as many things as it implies. Stop-It, FiberFix and others like it have a water activated polymer that becomes the adhesive when placed in water. The problem we had was that the adhesive had a tendency to creep to one end of the roll so it was not fully embedded in the tape when activated. This resulted in a short shelf life and caused part of the tape not to adhere to itself. Application is actually a little harder to use. It must be stretched tightly and overlapped by 1/2.
