Temp Unit Control

I think I've seen one post on this but couldn't find it.

On our last trip, my son on his way to the upper bunk, broke the little clip for the Temp Control unit. Now that I have to repair (replace) it. I was wondering if I just install a digital unit instead of the stock manual unit that it came with.

Has anyone done this mod on a TT?

I can still use the one by using a small screwdriver to set the AC or Heat or turn it off but I figure I take my time to do the right thing.

Those wiring diagram upgrades are great so long as you don't have any electric strip heater in the AC unit. We do and I've yet to figure out or see a diagram you that particular set-up. Anyone have any ideas on this configuration???

I think I can speak for everyone here when I say we will accept a "cold adult beverage" by UPS, just pack it in ice packs.

Hey Jeeper,

I'd send you guys one no problem....the funny part, I'll probably spend more on that one "beverage" shipment than the actual beverage.....LOL

and since we're on the subject, we finally had a true summer weekend here so I had a couple of those cold things with the Fam , friends & neighbors while we watched a movie out here in the block.

I bought the thermostat but DW made sure i kept busy doing ...well, you know other things.
