Theater seats and door side slide

Hello all! We took possession of our 2018 RiverStone 39RKFB, love this rig.

We noticed something that we brought up to the dealer and they seemed confused on if it was an issue or how to resolve in the event it was not normal.

The door side slide makes contact with the bottom corner/edge of the theater seat. When the slide is in, the contact pushes the bottom corner of the seat in about 3-4". When out, the arm of the seat has movement about equal to the amount it would move with slide in.

My question is, this movement, is it normal - designed by manufacturer to allow the give for the slide being in? I am concerned that the repeated contact will damage the seat.

Dealer said there was no adjustment to the slide to prevent the contact. I cannot see a way to move the seat as it is already against the opposing wall, and the seat seems fixed into place.

I inspected the seat, it seems no worse for wear from the actions, however it is a lightly used 2018 model, not sure how it will hold up long term.
