timer on ac ?

we are setting our shasta revere on a permanent site this season from may to end of oct its full hookup of course but we are responsible for our own power bill i had a thought of putting in a 7 day programmable digital timer to control the power going to the ac so it can come on a couple hours before we get there is this even an option ?? thanks for any help or suggestions

I would just change out the thermostat to a programmable stat.

You might do a search on"smart thermostats".We have one installed with our alarm system at the S&B.We can and do adjust our temps with our smart phones.You can turn it way up,then turn it down on your way to your camping spot.Ours in the house works great.

i would need wifi to do that i think ....no wifi at site

where can i get one ? are the camper tstats 12 volt i can only find 24 volt ones
