To cover or not to cover
Ok, here is the question, live in ohio, pretty harsh winters, first year for new camper, should I buy a cover and keep on for winter or leave alone, and if I do need one, suggestions are appreciated. ...

Get a breathable one or you will end up with moisture and BIGGER problems than you would if you would have just left it uncovered.

Here is a link to the cover I used last winter and will use it again this winter. Nice cover!

I went with a cheaper cover for my old TT and got what I paid for which wasn't much...lasted 2 seasons before it started tearing. Then I wised up and decided to go with quality for the 5er....bought a Goldline from

I bought a nice cover, it took 2 people to put it on, what a hassle...I took the cover back and built a 14x40 rv barn for it.

My roof leaked on out brand new camper this winter. Some how got it covered under warranty. Wish I could store it inside definitely looking into a cover but what about the vent covers and antenna on the roof? Would they tear the cover when the weight of snow gets added?

I put cardboard box(flattened) under and on top of antenna. Vents get a rug around them, as well as all square corners, even ones on the trailer. + steps.

permapro
I have had several covers over the years. The best one so far has been the Classic Accessories permaPRO. Light weight , strong and easier to install. Held up to nasty windy winters we get here in Illinois.
In the past I've had the Adeco and the Expedition. IMO there not as good,to heavy and rip too easy and installation was PITA with them.

Daviess County Metal. Took 5 days to put the outer layer on and took me 2 months by myself for the inner protection. Ha. Kinda pricey though.
