Toshiba 32C100U2 Audio Question

I have a Toshiba 32C100U2 in our Sabre. According to the manual there is no analogue audio out (red and white RCA jacks) on this model. My TV has two jacks 1 red 1 white with a stick on label under them that says AUDIO OUT. It looks as this may be a modification to the original TV.

The problem I am having is that when using these outputs to feed the trailer audio system, all works fine EXCEPT I can find no way in the setup manuals of disabling the TV's speakers. This means there is audio from the TV and the stereo which is slightly displaced in time giving an echo effect.

Does any one else have this model, if so are there audio out jacks on the back?

Any suggestions, other than don't use the trailer sound system

Here is a bandaid idea: plug a mini plug or cable or ear buds in the earphone jack up front you may have, that will disable the built-in speakers.

Should work until you find a more permanent solution.

Good luck.

Nice idea, but no cigar!

Unfortunately there is no headset socket

From what I can recall on our 32" Toshiba, you have to select 'set-up' in the main menu, select speakers and select off. This is the way that we get the surround sound system to work (on AV2) as the TV had outputs to the Concertone system.
