Hi
Has anyone figured out their "Touch Audio" ?http://www.lci1.com/NewProducts/Flye...TouchAudio.pdf

I can't get the "sb" USB and "line-in" to work. What am I missing?. The radio, and DVD programs work well.
Of course there is no manual on this electronic and I'm a long ways from home. All I could find is the web site. Phoning is not a good option.

My first guess would be that the "SD" (Secure Digital) card reader, USB, and "line-in" ports would output something to the video side of things, as well as audio. I don't see any kind of video screen on this unit, so you'll have to use the t.v. to navigate the menu/folders of your external device contents.

See if you can translate the last line on page 10, the line that has the header "USB/SD/Band Pad". The way i read it is that you have to press the mode button until you're on DVD. Then be sure you don't have any DVD's in the unit....at that point, then you should be able to press the USB/SD/Band button which should allow you to select the usb or sd option to view or listen to whatever is on that type of memory (photos, music, video, etc).

To use the "line in", it looks like just pressing the 'mode' button a few times will toggle between dvd, aux in, radio, and weather band.

Thanks very much for the manual. Not sure I fully understand the unit yet, but did view the pictures off a sd card and am currently listening to a mp3 player through the "in line". Got wires running everywhere. :-) thx again, doug

You're welcome. I also had to read that manual a few times....at best..it was poorly written, but i'm glad to hear that you are able to use those ports on the equipment now.

The biggest thing I have found is that it really helps to have a TV hooked up so you can see what the system is doing. I bought a little 7" LCD when I was down in the States. Without the TV hooked up it took me a while to figure it out as well.

Ahhh - good idea...i'll have to see if that helps. I can't get the radio stations to preset and it's driving me nuts!

OK, I just figured out the presets. (For both yours and my sake.)

- Tune to the station you want.
- Press "Store/Clock." You should see "memory" flashing.
- Press the ">>" button to get the preset number you want.
- When the right number shows press "Store/Clock" again to store it.

It looks like pressing the "Preset" button on the front will just toggle forward through the presets; you need the remote to back and forth.

And it also appears that hooking up a TV only shows you options when on one of the video modes like DVD or if you are watching an AVI from a USB stick.

I played around some and figured out the preset thing...the manual is terrible.

I have a portable dual screen dvd player and hooked up the 'dumb' screen and the dvd player works but yeah, I never say anything else on the screen but the movie.
