Ella I made a new post so we can work these issues without confusing the two problems.

So, you say "nothing works" yet you go on to say the outlets have power.
I am confused.

the outlet u plugged the handy vac into; is it the same one u plugged the trailer into?
what kind of trailer...is it 30 or 50?
does it have a battery disconnect switch (mine is a red key near the fuse panel)?

Hi Lou, I should of said the appliances will not come on, however the light work, and when we plugged the vac into the refrigerator plugin it worked. My husband was checking the batteries when I was e-mailing He had only checked one battery assuming the other would be charged if the one was, however the one battery is not charged so he put the charger on it hoping that maybe our Issue .. Thanks for the answer back Ellad

the battery may be ur problem. although, i would have expected the converter to put out enough to give the control board on the frig enough power to work. maybe not...would like to know how u come out.

If one battery in a 12 volt bank has a cell that is shorted internally, battery bank voltage will be much less than 10 volts. No 12 VDC; then no appliances (AC or otherwise since 12 volts is a must for fridge).

Remove the bad battery from the system and check Converter output for 13 volts. If no converter output the converter could have been damaged.
