TV coax has tiny ends

I'm looking for better- Bigger ends for my trailer to park cable TV wire.
Our trailer has a coax connector conveniently located right next to
the other connections- water- power- sewer.

The problem is the coax connector on my trailer is recessed slightly.
It has a rubber cap that snaps over it when not in use but trying
to screw on those -tiny- coax connectors is a PIA!!
I can barely get my fingernails on the darn thing to try and tighten or
loosen it. Seems like it's always cold, wet, raining when I'm trying to
get the things on or off.

Looking for either new ends or new entire cable with larger ends.
Push ON would be nice or screw on with a large elongated nut that could
be put on with real- adult fingers

I miss RadioShack!

Not sure if this is the way you want to go but an option for you.

There are some other types but they work the same, but not with all cables.

These are readily available (cheap) but should get several because they will eventually loosen up their hold on your coax port.

Tweety's has them also. They're great for transient use- easy on, easy off. Sometimes a little finicky with getting a good connection.

can also get 90 degree adapters to use with these push-on adapters, sometimes a 90 degree adapter is very helpful(link below)

Won't last very long, and if just a little loose.....bad or no picture......Bought a better replacement cable end (s) at HD....seem to have a quick start feature....and not so slippery....crimp onto cable

7/16" wrench works well, you can still get a grip on the flat sides with the end of the wrench. Not pretty but works and I have one anyway.

Thanks everyone!
Yes I know it's possible to wrench the little ones but man what a hassle
if it's dark or wet or cold or someplace where it's hard to get my bifocals focused
on the darn thing!

Push on work OK if the spring is not sprung and the female socket is not
heavily corroded.

What I didn't realize was the push on came with threads so they can be
screwed onto my existing cable and I don't need to cut off old end and crimp
on a new one.

Found a 10 pack on ebay for under $6 with free shipping.

Personally I would go for the tool to tighten them up worked with those push ons for years most of the time had to hold them in place.

I used several of the quick connection ones for my hookups. I found ones that have a rubber ring around them to keep them tight. Been going for several years now without trouble.

Cable connectors

Please do not use the slip on connectors. Check out the attached product. I found these at Lowes. They have a rubber sleeve in place of the nut and are much easier to work with.

Robot Check

They can be installed without the $30.00 tool. If anyone purchases them send me a PM and I will be glad to respond. Frank

it looks like the issue of using the slip-on adapters and the 90 degree adapters is a "to each his own" matter, ....maybe some folks have had problems with them, but that doesn't mean we all have,.....I've used both for years with no problems at all, they're certainly easier and cheaper to use than these other gadgets mentioned, so I think I'll just keep using um,....."to each his own"
