Question TV surround sound

Is anyone else having trouble with the surround sound in their RV? Also, good picture on LR TV, but snowy on BR TV, with satellite. We watched it at the rally in August without any problem, but now we have this problem.

For the snowy picture I would check the connections at all locations. Chances are something came loose during travel.

Also check the "splitters that cojoin the cables from the LR to the bedroom. Often they are not rated for Sat wiring and block or degrade the signal.

We have a brand new Sabre and I cannot get the television to play through the surround sound system. Everything else works fine--radio, cd, dvd, but not the television. I was going to ask folks about it at the Amana Rally and see if I can figure it out.

A lot of times they're only wired for video from surround sound to TV. Not wired for TV back to surround sound. You'll have to check to see if there's anything plugged into the 'Audio Out' on your TV and then make sure that connects to an input on the surround sound.

If that's ok. Next check the settings in the TV. Differs from manufacturer to manufacturer but in general there should be some kind of setting to enable the audio out. For some, you need to disable the TV's speakers to enable the audio out.

Check the connections where the wall plates are. If there are splitters they'll be right there. Check the stingers(center conductors) and make sure there's no braiding touching the stinger.

As far as connections to the radio go..as kaadk sais they only run one set of rca cables (red and white jacks) from the radio to the tv..you may want to run a second set for audio from the tv to the stereo.
