Use rear bumper storage for anything else?

Right now I have a a camco rhino flex house with a 90 degree clear fitting. I don't use the rear bumper storage (using rubbermaid container for now would like to do the fence post or pvc mod eventually). Does anybody use the rear bumper for anything else if they don't use it for the sewer hose?

We would but there's no room left. There's two Rhino-Flex hoses in our bumper!

You can use it to store a fold up ladder sold at CG, (not Cheap) also a clothesline board. If you never saw one they are easy to make and hook on to your ladder mounted on the unit. If you do not have a ladder it wouldn't look if you would like to see one I could post a picture....

I keep our emergency triangles and a safety vest in waterproof bag in there. I keep a piece of 1/4" aluminum rod with a hook bent on the end to pull out items that are way in there. Seems like a good place for them in a emergency.

In addition to the sewer hose in one end of the bumper, I keep a spare key in a magnetic key holder in the other end so I can't accidentally lock myself out and also to store the key while biking or boating.

Have a couple of old tent aluminum awning poles that when put together are equal to the height of my TT. Saves guessing if that tree limb is too low. Store in the bumper.

I use it for my telescopic flag pole.

Interested to know what folding triangles you bought, and whether you're pleased them

They are almost all the same. I get them from the fleet truck parts supply house. They are all pretty much the same. I keep a minimum of three and space them at 50' increments when needed. They usually come as a DOT compliant set of three in a storage box.

Send a message via Yahoo to bob caldwell
A few bumpers are to small for the hose, and tend to wear pin holes in the hose. Prefur the 5" fence post cover mod.
