Vcross water leak along slides

We have a 2013 VCROSS Classic 30VBHS. When we opened the trailer this year the piece of carpet that runs along the slides was soaking. Just that area though right from the front or the first slide through to the back of the rear slide. Does anyone else with this model have slide water leaks? I’d love some ideas on how to prevent this. Thanks.

Not familiar with your camper but first thing I would check would be the slides rubber seals. Hopefully you have been maintaining them and know where they are. Check them for leaks and tears and their pliability. That is what is supposed to keep water out when the slide is in or out. They are not expensive or hard to replace. Most just have a groove they slide in with a screw at each end to keep it from moving around.

If you can't find any issues with the seals, check the inside to see if there are any other signs of water damage other than the wet carpet so you can identify where it is coming in. Maybe from the side of the slide and dripping down onto the carpet, etc.

Let us know what you find.

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. You might try the search box at the upper right of this page and search your model for leaks
