Warm White vs Bright White

I was wondering why there is such a big fuss about Warm White LEDs over Bright White LEDs. One of the reasons you would change to LED lights would be more light. The brighter the better right??? Bright White should be the winner, right? Wrong, Warm White is more popular. Some even say 9 out of 10 women prefer Warm White over Bright White.

LEDs For Recreational Vehicles has that on their Home Page.

I have heard that Bright White light hurts women’s eyes. Others say that it does not hurt their eyes but that the Bright White shows flaws in the skin. Close to the Bright White light I have seen a difference.

My question is, which do you prefer and why. Bright White vs. Warm White?

I chose the warm white because it is a lot closer to the colour of the incandecent light bulbs. I find that the bright white hase a blue tint to it that "bleaches" out all colour and tones in the room, not a very nice thing to look at. Kind of reminds you of being locked in an office.
