Warranty

Here is the scenario. . A friend of mine bough a new coachman asthma year. Made the deal at an RV show in March, took delivery mid May. Nothing g but problem. S throughout the year. . Windows leaked, doors came loose, lights not working, etc. . Everything he used it, he took it for service. . Pulled it out of storage today, staples popped on roof, ready to poke through rubber roof, decals have all cracked, outside kitchen door has bowed out over an inch. The dealer told him that he is out of warranty, as it started the day he made the deal, not when he took delivery. Sounds pretty shady to me. . Looking for opinions on this one

He got the old "we are on your side, but it's the manufacturer that won't allow us to warranty it". I have read FR stands behind their stuff. We will see.
