Anyone had trouble with the water filter on a 8282ws? Besides being unbelievably difficult to change the filter? The housing on mine recently split like an egg shell at the bottom of the housing. Heard water running and watched water pour out the bottom of the 5th wheel. By the time I got the water shut off the interior was flooded. A quick trip to Home Depot and I bypassed the filter. Plan on purchasing an external filter, any recommendations?
Go for your basic Culligan whole house filter setup. You will need a 3/4NPTM X GHTM and a 3/4 NPTM X GHTF fittings. Taste, odor sediment filters are 10 micron and go for about 2/$7
